Lucas County Health Center (LCHC) is pleased to announce that Dr. Gregory Larsen, a board-certified urologist with the Urology Center of Iowa, will begin offering services through LCHC Medical Clinic.
Dr. Larsen brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to patient care. Born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee, Dr. Larsen’s journey to medicine began after years of work in non-profit community development. Drawn to urology for its variety of disease processes and the balance between clinical and surgical care, Dr. Larsen is committed to creating collaborative, patient-centered treatment plans.
“We are excited to partner with Dr. Larsen and the Urology Center of Iowa to bring this service to our community,” said Brian Sims, Chief Executive Officer. “His expertise and commitment to personalized care will provide our patients and community with the care they need, close to home.”
Dr. Larsen earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Prior to relocating to Iowa, he practiced urology for ten years in New Orleans.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Larsen enjoys cycling, baking sourdough bread, and watching sporting events. He is married and shares his home with two beloved rescue dogs.
Dr. Larsen will see patients on the fourth Thursday of every month, beginning January 23rd. For more information, visit Dr. Larsen’s biography here or call (641) 774-8103 to schedule an appointment.
