She then pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, where she honed her medical knowledge and clinical skills.
Following medical school, Dr. Joe completed a rigorous and comprehensive five-year surgery residency at the BronxCare Health System in New York, finishing in 2023.
