The Comfort Fund at Lucas County Health Center was started by Van Allen students in 2019 as a way to support patients who are battling cancer. On their first day of chemotherapy, our patient receives a “Comfort Bag” filled with items that are useful during and after their treatment. These bags have been solely funded by the community for the last few years and receive various donations throughout the year.
Thank you to these donors for supporting the Comfort Fund!
