Lucas County Health Center (LCHC) is pleased to welcome Dr. Meagan Etchemendy, DO, and Dr. Ken Chapman, MD, to its medical staff. Both physicians officially began seeing patients at LCHC Medical Clinic and are excited to serve the Chariton and Lucas County communities.
Dr. Ken Chapman joins LCHC following his practice as a family medicine physician in Storm Lake. He earned his undergraduate degree from Drake University and completed medical school at St. George’s University. Dr. Chapman completed his residency training at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Meagan Etchemendy, a Montana native, joins LCHC after completing her Family Medicine residency in Waterloo during summer 2026. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming.

Both physicians are passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered family medicine and look forward to building relationships with patients throughout Lucas County. Their addition strengthens LCHC’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare close to home.
