Price Estimates
Our online estimate tool can give you a general idea of what a healthcare service may cost at LCHC based on the information you provide. Remember: These are estimates, not quotes or guarantees – your final cost may be different.
The actual amount you will owen depends on many factors including the services you receive, length of stay, equipment, supplies, tests, medications, and coverages. Your insurance ebenefits, including deductibles, copays, coinsuirance, and out-of-pocket maximums will also affect what you pay.
These estimates do not include charges from providers who are not employed by LCHC, including some specialists, radiologists, or pathologists. For the most accurate estimate, we encourage you to speak with our Financial Counselor.
No Surprise Billing
You have protections against surprise medical bills when you receive emergency care or are treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center.
An out-of-network provider or facility does not have a contract with your health insurance plan. In some situations, an out-of-network provider may otherwise be able to charge you the difference between what your insurance pays and the provider’s full charge. This is called balance billing.
A surprise bill is an unexpected bill you may receive when you cannot control who provides your care. For example, this may happen during an emergency or when you receive care at an in-network facility but are treated by an out-of-network provider.
Federal law provides protections against certain surprise bills and limits what you can be charged in these situations.
Please review the document below to learn more about your rights and protections and what to do if you believe you have received a bill that may not be allowed.
