Lucas County Health Center congratulates Philip Sundquist, MD for obtaining his Wound Care Certified credential through the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy.
The Wound Care Certified (WCC) credential validates higher-level knowledge and skills required to use today’s advanced wound therapist, such as negative pressure wound therapy, biologic skin equivalents, and hyperbaric oxygen treatments. The WCC credential includes rigorous education and experience requirements, as well as passing an exam.
“This credential only further demonstrates how dedicated Dr. Sundquist is to his field and to his patients,” says JoBeth Lawless, Chief Nursing Officer. “He has elevated our Wound Care Program and we are proud to have him as a member of our healthcare team.”
