LCHC Names Jay Christensen as Chief Executive Officer

Lucas County Health Center (LCHC) is pleased to announce that Jay Christensen has been selected as the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer.

Christensen currently serves as LCHC’s Chief Financial Officer and brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership and finance. His extensive background includes over 21 years as a Chief Executive Officer, with leadership roles at Mahaska Health Partnership and Pocahontas Hospital.

Known for his strong financial skills and operational insight, Christensen has successfully guided healthcare organizations through periods of growth, change, and innovation. In addition to his executive experience, he has shared his expertise in the classroom as an Instructor of Health Care Financial Management at Des Moines University and an Assistant Professor of Business Management at William Penn University.
