  • Mainly Monday – Friday from 6 AM – 2:30 PM
Description:
  • Plans and coordinates pharmacy departmental functions
  • Organize, direct and coordinate the activities of the professional and supporting staff engaged in the pharmacy
  • Responsible for pharmacy management, resource management, and fiscal management
  • Performs task required in maintaining the successful operation of the pharmacy
  • Performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work in the compounding and dispensing of drugs and IV supplies
  • Participates as a member of the LCHC’s Operations Team in planning, policy formulation, and administrative decision making with particular reference to the roles, functions, and operations of the Health Center’s pharmacy department
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
  • Degree in Pharmaceutical Science from an accredited institution
  • Current registration to practice pharmacy in Iowa
  • Two (2) years of previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
