- Mainly Monday-Friday from 7:00am-7:00pm – Varied hours up to 36-40 hours per week. Works approx.. every 5th Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-3:00pm
Description:
- As a member of the Ambulatory Care Team, the Clinic Lead Nurse serves as a resource to the clinical staff in the ambulatory setting. The Lead Nurse assists the Chief Clinical Officer by providing clinical oversight and direction that ensures the safety and quality of the care provided to patients. The Lead Nurse is responsible for promoting and advancing the professional development of all clinical associates in the ambulatory setting through role modeling, mentoring, and providing feedback.
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
- Current AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) Certification, Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse licensure, or Current Iowa Registered Nurse licensure
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification required within 6 months of employment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Office and able to learn additional software programs.
