Description:
- Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, including functioning in Charge Nurse role. Responsible for orientation, training, and management of personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills.
Days and Shifts:
Works 5 out of 6 weekends
Sunday 6:00am-6:30pm, Friday 6:00am-6:30pm, Saturday 6:00am-6:30pm
On-Call Rotation: 1 – 12 hour shift every other week

Requirements
Educational/Experience:
Iowa licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
Healthcare Provider BLS
Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of employment
ACLS within 12 months of employment
PALS within 12 months of employment
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well
