LCHC Achieves 4-star Rating from CMS

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) updated data on the Hospital Compare website and released their Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings. Lucas County Health Center has achieved a 4-star rating, reflecting high levels of quality healthcare being provided to Lucas County Residents.

The ratings are based on publicly reported data on more than 50 measures across seven aspects of quality of care including Safety of Care, Mortality, Re-admission, Patient Experience, Effectiveness of Care, Timeliness of Care and Efficient Use of Medical Imaging.

Nationally, 7.36% of hospitals received a 5 star rating, 25.22% received a 4 star rating, 25.92% a 3 star rating, 16.44% a 2 star rating and 5.68% a 1 star rating.
