Days and Shifts:
- Works 40 hours per week, typically Monday – Friday from 7 AM – 3:30 PM
- Works weekends as needed
Description:
- Oversees daily operations of the hospital’s dietary and nutritional services department
- Leads staff, manages food service operations, and supports patient care through quality nutrition services
- Ensures the preparation and delivery of safe, nutritious, and appealing meals for patients, staff, and visitors while meeting all regulatory, safety, and dietary requirements
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
- High school diploma required; associates degree preferred
- 250-hour Dietary Certificate from State Department of Health or attainment by pre-determined date specified by LCHC.
- Three to five years direct-related experience, preferably in a healthcare related field
- One-year supervisory experience preferred.
- Continuing education, as required by State rules and regulations
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of hire
