Chariton Bomgaars has, once again, demonstrated its commitment to community well-being through its recent Ladies Night event in October 2025. The store’s initiative, which donates 5% of total sales during the event to local hospitals, has resulted in a remarkable contribution of $439.15 to the Comfort Fund at Lucas County Health Center.
The Comfort Fund, dedicated to providing bags filled with essential comfort items to chemo patients on their first day of treatment, has received substantial community support since it’s inception in 2019. With this donation, the store has facilitated the purchase of six additional comfort bags, making an impact on the lives of individuals undergoing chemotherapy.
