Dr. Wright grew up in Northern Michigan and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He continued his education at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, later receiving a Ph.D. in Translational Cancer Research at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Dr. Wright completed his surgical internship at the University of Minnesota – Department of Surgery, followed by his otolaryngology residency at the Department of Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Wright’s practice focuses on pediatric otolaryngology, laryngology, voice disorders, and cancer of the head and neck. He also specializes in minimally invasive surgery of the head and neck – including thyroid, parathyroid, and vagal nerve stimulator implantation surgery. As one of the few in the world to perform this surgery and one of the most experienced, Dr. Wright draws patients from around the world for this procedure.
Along with their three children, Dr. Wright and his wife spend time traveling – often to ski, hike, or sail. During his leisure time, he also enjoys reading and running.
