LCHC Donates to Chariton High School Athletics Program

Lucas County Health Center (LCHC) proudly continues its tradition of supporting the local community by partnering with Chariton High School (CHS) to host an annual sports physicals clinic. This partnership not only promotes the health and well-being of CHS student-athletes but also gives back to the CHS Athletics Program.

On November 1, 2023, Brian Sims, LCHC Chief Executive Officer, presented Tim Milledge, CHS Athletic Director and Vice Principal, with a generous donation of $820. These funds, which total the registration fees from the sports physicals clinic held in August, will be instrumental in enhancing the CHS Athletics Program by providing support for equipment and various other program needs.

The annual sports physicals clinic, organized by LCHC and CHS, highlights the importance of ensuring the health and safety of student-athletes as they pursue their passion for sports.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Charger Athletics, and we are proud to support the growth and development of the CHS Athletics Program,” said Brian Sims, CEO of Lucas County Health Center.

Lucas County Health Center and Chariton High School remain dedicated to nurturing the health and success of their community. The annual sports physicals clinic is just one of the many ways they continue to collaborate in this endeavor. Together, they are committed to providing a healthier and more prosperous future for the students and athletes of Chariton.
