Lucas County Health Center is proud to release the results of its 2016 Community Health Needs Assessment report.
Conducted through community surveys and focus groups, the assessment evaluates the overall health status of Lucas County and identifies the community’s most pressing health-related needs. For this assessment, more than 140 reports were analyzed.
The results of the assessment highlighted five areas of concern by respondents: obesity, mental health, joint/back pain, transportation, and need for additionally providers/physicians. This information will be used to develop a community health plan and local health care improvement strategies for Lucas County.
