LCHC Requiring Face Masks Starting August 24th

Beginning Monday, August 24th Lucas County Health Center will require everyone – employees, patients, and visitors – to wear masks while in the building to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Patients and visitors are asked to bring their own face covering or mask to wear. If a patient or visitor does not have one, Lucas County Health Center will provide one. This updated masking guidance is based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevent (CDC) and UnityPoint Health – Des Moines.

“We want to thank the community in advance for wearing masks when entering the building,” said Joyce Dyer, Infection Control Nurse. “We must all do our part to keep ourselves and each other safe and healthy.
