LCHC Nurses Graves and Lawless Named Among ‘100 Great Iowa Nurses’

Lucas County Health Center nurses Liz Graves and JoBeth Lawless have been named to the Iowa Nurses Foundation’s “100 Great Iowa Nurses.”

This award seeks to recognize nurses whose courage, competence, and commitment to patients and the nursing profession stand out above all others. Hundreds of nominations from around the state were evaluated and final selections were made by the Iowa Hospital Association, the Iowa Nurses Foundation, and the Iowa Nurses Association.

“We are extremely proud to have JoBeth and Liz recognized this year,” said Brian Sims, CEO. “The fact that they were recognized not only at a local level, but also by respected hospital and nursing organizations truly demonstrates their expertise and passion.”

Lawless and Graves will be honored on May 6 – the beginning of Nurses Week – at the 14th annual celebration in Des Moines.
