Lucas County Health Center (LCHC) is now accepting donations of homemade cloth masks and gowns.
Donated masks would be used at the hospital for non-direct, patient care staff and patients who do not have respiratory illnesses. These masks would also serve as an emergency resource if personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies should run short or no longer be available.
Donations should be dropped off at the front desk of the hospital.
Community members who have questions or who would like to arrange a donation drop-off are encouraged to contact Joyce Dyer, Infection Control Nurse, at (641) 774-3220.
