Healthy University Sponsoring Free Chair Yoga Classes on November 10

Lucas County Health Center’s Healthy University will host free Chair Yoga classes on Thursday, November 10 at 4:30 PM and 5:45 PM in the Education Room at Lucas County Health Center.
Lynn Marie Nelson, owner of Illuminate Yoga + Natural Solutions and a former resident of Chariton, will discuss yoga benefits, facilitate a Chair Yoga practice, and answer your questions.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practice sitting in a chair or standing using a chair for support. This class is available to everybody, including beginners, desk workers, and those that are uncomfortable getting on the ground. Lynn Marie has taught students ages 3 – 93 and will invite you to move with your breath honoring your body’s unique needs. ┬áThis interactive workshop is open to people of all ages and body types. Wear comfortable and stretchable clothing.
