Face Masks Still Required at LCHC

On February 25, 2022 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released their new guidance on face mask usage based on community levels of COVID-19. It’s important to note these updates do not impact the precautions taken by hospitals and health care organizations.

The CDC still recommends face masks be worn in hospitals and health care facilities as part of the infection prevention and control.

As part of our commitment to caring for our community, we want to remind our patients and visitors of two very important policies that are still in effect at Lucas County Health Center:

  1. All patients, visitors, and staff members are required to wear a mask that fully covers their mouth and nose while in the facility, regardless of vaccination status.
  2. Visitors experiencing any symptoms of illness are not permitted to visit patients and should stay home.
