Biography
Lori and her husband, Scott, were both born and raised in Lucas County. They raised their family here and are proud to call it home. Today, they live on their self-proclaimed “funny farm” near Russell, where life includes six dogs, countless farm cats, cows, goats, sheep, and even a llama.
Lori’s connection to LCHC and healthcare is deeply personal. She grew up watching her mom work as a nurse at LCHC and seeing the difference she made in the lives of patients and their families. Her example inspired Lori to pursue a career in healthcare. For Lori, it’s about more than building a career – it’s a way to give back to the community she loves and help ensure her neighbors have access to quality care close to home.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and trying new restaurants, although her family likes to joke that she’ll probably order a grilled cheese or PB&J anyway. She also loves a good documentary, especially anything involving true crime, mayhem, or mysteries.
Lori loves being part of a team working toward a shared mission. Although she isn’t directly involved in procedures or situations involving blood (something that has never been her strong suit!), she appreciates being able to play a meaningful role in caring for patients and supporting the community that has always been home.
