Description:
Performs all RN requirements as described in the RN job description. The OR Nurse Manager supervises and directs nursing care and all related activities of the Operating Room, Recovery Room, and Central Supply according to the policies and procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the hospital and department. Responsibilities include aspects of environmental control, personnel, medical staff assistance, materials and equipment, and administrative duties. The OR Nurse Manager coordinates Operating Room activities with other departments and is accountable to the Administrator for the professional performance and management of the Surgical Department.

Monday-Friday Day Shift – 7:00am-3:30pm

Requirements
Educational/Experience:
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse Licensure
- Operating Room management experience
- Healthcare Provider BLS
- NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications
- Mandatory Reporter certification within 6 months of hire
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
