About
After growing up in rural Montana, rural living has always felt like home for Dr. Etchemendy. Now she and her husband, Dr. Chapman, are putting down roots of their own in Lucas County as they build their home and work toward starting a small cattle farm.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Etchemendy enjoys all things creative and outdoors. She loves crafting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, and especially enjoys making homemade jellies and jams. One of her specialities is blueberry lemon jam - a favorite of Dr. Chapman's!
As a family medicine provider, Dr. Etchemendy enjoys caring for patients of all ages and getting to know families through every stage of life. Her interests include women's health, including annual exams and birth control, mental health, pediatrics, physicals, wellness exams, and preventive care.
Dr. Etchemendy is excited to build relationships with patients and families in Lucas County. Having grown up in Montana, she understands the importance of having compassionate, comprehensive care close to home and is proud to bring that same passion to southern Iowa.
