Lucas County Health Center’s Diabetes Support Group offers a safe, welcoming space for individuals living with diabetes, those at risk, and their loved ones to connect, share, and learn together.
Who can join?
- Anyone living with Type 1, Type 2, or prediabetes
- Caregivers, family members, and friends who want to learn more
- Community members interested in diabetes prevention
What to expect
- Educational topics like understanding diabetes, healthy eating, exercise, and blood sugar management
- Guest speakers including healthcare providers, dietitians, and others with expertise in diabetes care
- Peer support from people who understand your challenges and victories
- Resources to help you live a healthy, balanced life

As a new group, we are still in the process of setting a regular meeting schedule. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about diabetes, sharing experiences, and connecting with others in a supportive environment.
