Biography
Joni and her husband, Brad, live in Pella with their three children – Easton, Liam, and Kella – and their two mini Bernedoodles, Bear and Paisley. When she’s not supporting her team at LCHC, Joni enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her children at their various activities. Joni is an avid runner and can often be found logging miles with other local runners. She enjoys training for races, especially the Disney Princess Half Marathon.
For Joni, working in rural healthcare means knowing that her work has a real impact. As she puts it, “In rural healthcare, what you do matters.” She understands that in a rural community, relationships are personal, the work is meaningful, and every person has a role to play. She takes pride in knowing her work contributes to something bigger and that she makes a difference for the people and community around her.
