Non-Certified Medical Lab Tech (Part Time)



Days and Shifts:
  • Works 24 hours per week
  • Monday and Tuesday from 7 AM – 7 PM
  • Performs clinical laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance
  • Maintains cooperative working relationships with intradepartmental and interdepartmental personnel
  • Performs variety of general laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
  • Performs routine and special laboratory tests in accordance with requisition of physician
  • May perform clinical tests in any one or combination of areas of specialization.
  • Associate Degree in Medical Technology
  • ASCP certification or equivalent nationally recognized Medical Technology certification required within one year of hire
  • Mathematical skills
  • Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Reasoning and language skills at the college level
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well
