About

Dr. Morgan brings more than two decades of experience as a general surgeon, along with a broad background in surgical care, trauma, and minimally invasive procedures. Throughout his career, he has taken on leadership and teaching roles, including serving as a trauma director, chief of general surgery, and chair of a robotics program. He also takes pride in having served as an adjunct professor of general surgery, helping to educate and mentor future physicians.

Dr. Morgan has a particular appreciation for the role surgeons play in rural communities, where providing care sometimes means thinking outside the walls of a hospital. Over the course of his career, he has responded to situations where every second matters, including performing life-saving procedures in the middle of a field to save a patient’s life. His experience in trauma and rural surgery has given him a unique perspective on caring for patients and families when and where they need it most.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Morgan enjoys spending time outdoors. His hobbies include fly fishing, deer hunting, golf, and other sporting activities.
