Michelle L. Greathouse MSN, NP-C received her undergraduate and graduate degree at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, IL. During her career as a Registered Nurse, she practiced in the Intensive Care Unit full time and Emergency Department part time.

Since graduating with her Masters Degree, she became board certified through the AANP and has gained a variety of experience in different areas such as Rural Health, Rheumatology, Family Practice, Urgent Care, Emergency Department, and now has joined Lucas County Health Center as a Hospitalist. With her experience, she will be able to provide excellent care to the people of the community.  She is hoping to be involved with expanding specialty services at the hospital possibly including Rheumatology, and Wound Clinic services.

She comes to us from Northeastern Missouri. She is married to her husband who hobby farms, has a son in college at Southern Illinois University, a sixteen year-old son, and a twelve year-old daughter. Her hobbies include spending some of her free time riding her horses with her children, golfing with her husband, and helping her children with their many projects in 4-H and FFA. When there is time left, she spends time helping her daughter raise and train her Siberian Huskies.

She is very excited to join the team at Lucas County Health Center and looks forward to building many wonderful relationships with our staff and our community.
