About
Being from southern Iowa, Dr. Anderson always wanted to practice family medicine in a rural community. Growing up on a farm near Munterville, Iowa he learned the value of hard work and respect for others.
Dr. Anderson began his family practice in Humeston, Iowa serving patients in both Wayne and Lucas counties as he delivered babies and made house calls. After completing his residency, he returned to Chariton where he founded the Chariton Diagnostic Clinic, which is now LCHC Medical Clinic.
Dr. Anderson treasures the friendships and personal relationships he has with his patients. He and his wife, Diane, have two children – Kris and Kari. He also has interests in aviation, bicycling, motorcycling, and is active in many community organizations and activities.
