Registered Nurse ER/Float (Weekend Package – Days)

Days and Shifts:
  • Works 5 out of 6 weekends or 2 out of 3 weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
  • Shifts from 6 AM – 6 PM
  • Occasionally works Mondays
  • No call
Description:
  • Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, including functioning in Charge Nurse role
  • Responsible for orientation, training, and management of personnel
  • Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care
  • Maintains satisfactory relations with other departments
  • Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
  • Current Iowa licensure as a Registered Nurse
    BLS, NRP, TNCC & ACLS certification (May obtain within 1 year of hire date)
    Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
