Description:
- Develop, implement, and administer a program to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment owned and operated by the facility in accordance with relevant regulations, agency standards, and fiscal considerations and to procure or generate all utilities and their distribution systems. Also responsible for overseeing the maintenance staff.

Requirements
Educational/Experience:
- Associate’s degree or a technical vocational school in related field preferred
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and teambuilding abilities
- Minimum of five years’ experience in property or construction management emphasizing maintenance/facilities management including first-hand experience with hospital, retail, manufacturing, campus or commercial office buildings including capital improvements, construction and/or property maintenance
- Must have hands-on experience working with high pressure boiler systems: HVAC and electrical systems; experienced in construction projects; ability to work independently and follow-through: proper experience in hospital setting highly desirable; must be a self-starter and present a professional image; ability to work under pressure; ability to achieve goals through the supportive efforts of others; carpentry skills desirable.
- Valid Iowa driver’s license and acceptable driving history under the guidelines of LCHC’s established Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks policy and procedure.
- Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of hire
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
