Clinical Dietitian – Hospital – (Part Time)

Days and Shifts:
  • Part-time position
  • Works 8-12 hours per week
  • Mainly Tuesday from 8 AM – 4:30 PM
  • May work additional hours as needed
Description:
  • Responsible for the regulatory functions of the Nutritional Services department and the provision of dietitian services
  • Accountable for educational design, direction and delivery of individual and group programs within the hospital
  • Develops nutritional guidelines and therapeutic menus for patients based on their physical condition and dietary restrictions
  • Consults with physicians and nurses in regard to individual meal plans
  • Responsible for teaching patients and their families about sound nutritional principles, and selecting and preparing food.
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
  • Registered and Licensed Dietitian
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required. Master’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to clearly speak and understand English
  • Skilled in computer use, communication, and decision making
  • Child and Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Training required within 6 months of employment
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
