LCHC Board appoints McGee as new trustee

Natalie McGee of Chariton was appointed July 10 to fill a vacancy on the LCHC Board of Trustees created by the resignation of Trustee Fred Housman. McGee is a 28-year employee of Hy-Vee, Inc. and currently serves as Director of Human Resources, Chariton. A native of Lucas County, McGee brings many skills to the table and a clear understanding of the local community dynamic. She is excited to join the LCHC Board.

“I am pleased to serve on the Health Center board,” McGee said. “The hospital provides a vital service to our community. I look forward to learning more about healthcare and serving Lucas County in this way.” Board Chairman Ray Meyer is pleased to have McGee become an LCHC trustee.

“Natalie brings a new perspective and will make a positive contribution to our mission to support Lucas County Health Center,” Meyer said. “We are glad to have her on the Board.” LCHC chief executive officer Dan Minkoff agreed.

“Natalie makes a great addition to our Board,” Minkoff said. “She has lived in the area all of her life and is very involved in the community.”

McGee is a certified professional in human resources. She attended Iowa State University and is a loyal Cyclone and Chariton Charger fan. She is active in her church and the Chariton Sportsbackers. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, walking, playing bridge and spending time with friends and family. McGee and her husband, Tim, have three children – Lydia, Logan and Amelia.
