Lucas County Health Center Infusion Therapy offers a full range of infusion services. Whether you are being treated for osteoporosis, infection, anemia, cancer, or other illness, LCHC Infusion Clinic offers quiet, comfortable surroundings close to home.
Our infusion rooms are cozy and comfortable while offering the state-of-the-art medical care necessary for your well-being and health. Our knowledgeable staff is there to answer your questions about all aspects of your infusion therapy. Our services include IV treatments, injections, port flushes, and dressing changes as ordered by your physician. If you have medication questions, our pharmacist is an excellent resource and is happy to visit with you at the time of your treatment.

"I found the lump on Tuesday. I saw my provider, here at the clinic, on Thursday, had my ultrasound and mammogram here on Friday. Then, I saw Dr. Sokol on Monday and they did my biopsy on Tuesday - that quick. LCHC was able care for me and do my biopsy and my sentinel node biopsy, while the Infusion Clinic did my infusions and cleaned out my port. It was great to know that I could just get in the car, drive across town and be here and have it all done - then, I could go right home after my treatments and surgery and get comfortable in my own recliner or bed. There's a lot of stress on your family, anyway, when cancer is involved, and not needing to travel to receive treatment alleviated a lot of that stress.
It's convenient because it's all right here. You don't have to drive over an hour to Des Moines. LCHC takes excellent care of you. They usually get you right in and out - you don't have to sit and wait for hours like I have in bigger hospitals in big cities. Plus, this is much more personal, you're a real person - you're not just a number. LCHC has done an excellent job taking care of me, and the girls in the LCHC Infusion Clinic have the compassion and the knack for what they do - and I am now two years cancer-free! Isn't that awesome!"
