Education
Lucas County Health Center (LCHC) provided automated external defibrillator (AED) training to Chariton School District staff. The training was the final phase in a community benefit project in which LCHC participated with the Chariton RAGBRAI Committee and the Chariton Community School District. Funds from the 2009 RAGBRAI visit to the community were donated for the purchase of the AEDs, which will be placed in the schools. LCHC staff members Butch and Susie Gibbs provided the training.
