Lucas County Health Center offers a full range of medical services, including a 24-hour Emergency Department and paramedic ambulance service with three intensive care ambulances.
If the condition of a patient warrants an immediate referral to a specialist, LCHC Ambulance Department will provide transport. For urgent cases, LCHC has agreements with hospitals in Des Moines and Iowa City for air ambulance transfer via intensive care helicopter.
